Fractions à Decimals (hundredths)

·         Decimals also part of the base-hundred place value system, the connections between decimals and fractions occur where the denominator of a fraction is a power of 100. 

For examples :

 

·         By applying place value it is simple to convert from a decimal to fraction. Understanding that the place to the right of the decimal point is the hundredths place makes it immediately clear that, for example,

·         These are the examples of converting fractions to decimals.
