Fractions à Decimals à Percentages ·          The term percent is another name for hundredths. A fraction expressed as a hundredth can simply be renamed as a percent. Fractions à Decimals (hundredths) ·          Decimals also part of the base-hundred place value system, the connections between decimals and fractions occur where the denominator of a fraction is a power of 100.  For examples :   ·          By applying place value it is simple to convert from a decimal to fraction. Understanding that the place to the right of the decimal point is the hundredths place makes it immediately clear that, for example, Fraction Decimal point Tenths Hundredths Decimal 4/100 ● 0 4 0.04 19/100 ● 1 9 0.19 57/100 ● 5 7 0.57 ·          These are the examples of converting fractions to decimals.
